Many types of Health Insurance are available through Petretti & Associates, Inc. -- from individual medical plans to multi-national large employer group plans, with many in between.
P&A does not believe in one-size fits all. Whether you are one person looking for coverage, or a very large employer with thousands of employees, we can design, or help you design, a health plan that is tailored to your specific needs, circumstances, and budget. This can be a fully insured plan, completely self-funded plan, or some combination of the two.
Our plans can also be designed to offer special Preferred Provider networks, Exclusive Provider networks, or can be a traditional plan where you can see any provider anywhere. The plans can also be a blend of these networks.
Here are some examples of the many solutions to your health care coverage needs we can provide.

Short Term Medical
|
Short Term Medical insurance is designed for people who are between permanent health plans. Going without health insurance, even for a short time, puts you at financial risk.
This insurance is ideal for people who are between jobs, waiting for employer group coverage, recent college graduates, or anyone else who is experiencing a gap in coverage. Short Term Medical insurance is also often a good, affordable alternative to COBRA coverage. If you find COBRA too expensive, and are in generally good health, Short Term Medical insurance could be the right choice for you.
We offer Short Term Medical insurance from Assurant Health (formerly known as Fortis Health), a national leader in Short Term Medical insurance. This temporary health insurance has many valuable features and is available in plans ranging from 30 to 180 days (varies by state**).

Health Savings Accounts
|
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) allow you to save premium, reduce taxes, and build tax-favored savings.
An HSA works like an IRA, except that money is used to pay health care costs. Participants enroll in a relatively inexpensive high deductible insurance plan. Then, a tax-deductible savings account may be opened to cover current and future medical expenses. The money deposited, as well as the earnings, are not taxable. The funds can then be withdrawn to cover qualified medical expenses tax-free. (Qualified medical expenses include eyeglasses, braces and long term care insurance premiums.) Unused balances roll over from year to year.
Anyone with a qualified high deductible insurance plan is eligible for a tax-deductible HSA. A high deductible insurance plan is a health plan with a minimum deductible of $1,200 for self-only coverage and $2,400 for family coverage. The maximum out-of-pocket expenses for allowed costs must be no more than $5,940 for self-only coverage and no more than $11,900 for family.
